Decent stay with some noise

Had a junior suite for 4 nights. It’s super spacious but kinda dark because of old decor. The shower definitely needs better pressure, and the noise from the nightclub nearby is a bit much at night. The bar area is pretty cool though, and breakfast wasn’t too bad either.

The kids loved the pool area, which was spacious and clean. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast spread, featuring local fruits and pastries that kickstarted our busy days exploring Tegucigalpa.

In my wife’s opinion, better soundproofing would really improve the stay.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Despite some noisy nights, the staff's warm welcome made our stay enjoyable. We particularly liked the traditional local dishes served at breakfast. Opt for a room away from the street to minimize noise. Be sure to ask for menu options early for better service!

Couple nice little getaway

The room was huge and the view from the balcony was amazing especially at night. The staff was great, especially one server at breakfast who was really kind to us, wearing glasses and always there when we needed something.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable.

Just a decent option for a quick visit in Tegucigalpa with good value considering the price charged. The breakfast had a solid variety that helped start my day right. Be prepared for loud noise from nearby nightlife. it can be quite distracting.

I had an 8-night stay in the Junior Suite at Plaza San Martin, and there were some bright spots, but also serious concerns. The location is great with easy access to local dining options like Sabor Cubano and Mojitos, which I loved. The breakfast spread was solid, giving a nice start to the day. A complimentary room upgrade was a nice touch too. However, the noise from the open-air bar nearby was bothersome and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Loud music blared until the early hours, affecting both daytime work and nighttime rest. The room felt dark and stuffy, with old carpets that needed replacing. The staff could use better training on hospitality. very few smiles or warm interactions. A few staff members were accommodating, but others were quite brusque. Despite the room upgrade, the inconsistent quality made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been.

The loud music from the nearby open-air bar disrupts sleep!!! A renovation is necessary as many facilities are outdated, from the dark rooms to the old furniture. Earplugs become essential!!!

The local eats scene is on fire! Try spot-on veggie vibes at Sabor Cubano or the savory delights at Mojitos. Plus, my sweet stay scored a complimentary room upgrade! Don't sleep on the breakfast. it was pretty solid for fueling up each day.
